In an encounter with multiple Drunk Apes, she was pushed to her limits. Unable to fight to the best of her abilities, her hit points had reached critical levels. Wondering alone and ending up lost within the Forest of Wandering, due to extensive battles with the dungeon's monsters, her supply of healing items had been exhausted, and she had become weary. Due to this dispute, Silica left the party and ran away on her own. Silica had a dispute regarding healing items with one of these parties, Rosalia, who also leads the Titan's Hand guild, thought best that Pina had adequate healing abilities for Silica. Many parties attempted to use her fame and glory for their own benefits, teaming up with her for bragging rights and treating her as a mascot for the party. She became the worlds first Beast Tamer after feeding peanuts to a Feathered Little Dragon, becoming the source of many a players attention, good and bad, as this was a technique that was not well known throughout Aincrad. Silica's avatar in Sword Art Online matches her appearance in the real world, with light brown hair tied up with ribbons into short twin-tails. Her popularity within the game is attributed to her accomplishment as a Beast Tamer, as this is not a selectable class within the game, thus making players that had the Beast Tamer status quite a rare occurrence.
